For protection against scratches, ASUS has decided to install Corning's Gorilla Glass. Other aspects of the tablet have been kept in mind by the company with the camera being sporting an 8 MP sensor (with f/2.4 aperture), while other tablets merely have 5 MP. This seems like quite a leap because tablets are generally not considered as a camera replacements. That being said, we're sure this feature will benefit the user in every way. The camera is capable of shooting 1080p Full HD video as well. The Transformer Prime comes with a 1.2 MP front facing camera for video calls. It will be running on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) initially, with an Ice Cream Sandwich update arriving eventually.

remote control
The remote diamond-shaped with two AAA batteries power supply is much smaller and more elegant remote controls as long boring that come with most TVs by comparison. There are plenty of clearly labeled buttons to handle all commonly used functions such as control functions of the media when the TV is connected to a media player compatible with EasyLink. Philips has a minimalist approach in terms of button control, so most of the configuration functions are available when you press the Start button, rather than directly on the remote control.

In addition to the combination of the above, two other products that come as part of the package.

3D BDP5200 Blu-ray Player
The BDP5200 is Philips 3D-capable Blu-ray worth Rs 13,000, which is included free with the TV, although TV can not display 3D content. That said, is an excellent player BDP5200 Blu-ray supports the latest Blu-ray 3D and multiple media formats through USB 2.0 port. With a piano black finish, this player matches the style of the TV. Furthermore, the optical disc player trade cargo is compatible with a USB port on the front of the NTFS file system, so you can connect external hard drives and play movies on them. While Blu-ray game with menu-driven interface, USB flash drives displayed in a manner similar to Windows Explorer with files and folders, making it easier to find files and media. Is able to play popular file formats like MKV, H.264, MPEG2, XviD, AVCHD, WMV, etc. There is also a slot for SD memory cards in the back for photos and video via a digital camera. The output is via HDMI, and analog composite video available.

The Internet part of this system depends entirely on the Internet capability of the BDP5200, which came with the Ethernet port on the back of the unit is. That alone brings intelligent TV features TV, and even DLNA. The ultra-mini keyboard mentions the following must be connected to the USB port on the player to use the full Internet functionality, including web browsing and Net TV.

The user interface without meaning can not be appreciated by many, but Philips wants to show-offs to a minimum and functionality were given top priority. Blu-ray media recognize a few seconds, while USB drives take up much less. The speed is fully searchable with the media is inserted, as well as USB memory speed to your own remote control, the player also in the Philips TV remote to control once you activate the Easy Link. Note that this only works if the player is connected to the TV via HDMI.

Ultra Mini Keyboard
Philips combines an ultra-mini keyboard, which is not just a wireless keyboard with USB interface. Weighing only 100 grams of this keyboard is of dimensions 15 cm x 5 cm x 1.4 cm. There is an internal battery that charges via a mini-USB port on the power receiving device. It connects to your TV via a USB receiver dongle, which can be removed from the site. The small QWERTY keyboard has all the keys on a normal keyboard with function keys, except for the keypad. There is a touch screen on the right mouse button down. Although it's pretty obvious that this is a cheap Chinese keyboard, the overall impression is decent with good tactile feedback. We were surprised that this keyboard even has a backlight all the buttons, which is advantageous if, in a dark room.

The main feature of this keyboard is able to use to access the Internet features of the Philips TV, which is not to our liking. Ergonomics is not taken into account in this case because it does not think much of the type, while the Internet through the BDP5200. This keyboard can also serve as a presentation tool, thanks to the laser pointer included in it. It also works with any computer as a wireless keyboard with touchpad.
