Very Basic Computer Trouble Shooting Tips Everyone should know

Computer trouble shooting is a wide range of techniques through which you can easily determine the errors into your computer. It is very common that your desktop or laptop computer may be attacked with problems. So you should know about the repairing of problems. In the following, I am giving some such repairing techniques through which you can easily save your money from taking your computer to the technician or expert.

1. Blue Screen Error
Blue screen of death, shortly called BSOD is a very common error in Windows operating system which shows you the information of the memory location at the time of computer crashing. Through BSOD, it means that there can remain errors in hardware drivers, overheating, using poor software etc. If there is any hardware error into your computer, then BSOD will continuously show you that. Blue screen is shown mainly, if the motherboard, hard drive or CPU has any error. The easiest way to identify which component has the problem is that finding out that particular component which fails to run scandisk. If CPU is overheated or motherboard fails, then you should call a technician.

2. Boot Process Error
When any computer is booted then BIOS checks for hardware and give the control to the boot files of the running operating system. If the boot files are corrupted then a boot error will be shown in front of you when you will turn on the computer. You can fix this error using a boot disk. Insert that disk to the CD/DVD drive and start computer in normal way. After the operating system is loaded, you can easily copy boot files into the hard disk.

3. Error in Software
When you will install any software then do not install that found from unreliable developer or source. If the software is developed poorly then it may show error after installing to any computer when operating system loads. You will get many software errors then. Go to the website of the developer and search for updates and fixes, if available. If you do not get any update by the manufacturer then just uninstall that program from the computer.

Wireless Bandwidth

fter you’ve purchased a router, the next step is to determine how much bandwidth you are receiving from your wireless connection. This becomes particularly important if you have a household where the network users are habitually downloading movies or other large data files. While a router can rapidly transfer this information, it is constrained by the amount of bandwidth available to the household. A connection that transmits data at 2.4 GHz with a 54 megabit speed is usually adequate to the task. If your network feels exceptionally sluggish, check to make sure that you are receiving the wireless by ‘pinging’ the network. Alternatively, if you are receiving the full wireless bandwidth but are still experiencing slow results because of the types of media you are transferring, you may consider paying for a faster service.
