Gigabyte brings to the Computex 2011 its S1080 slate-style tablet PC. The 10.1-inch device is powered by an Intel Atom N550 1.66GHz dual core processor and runs Windows 7. It sports 2GB of RAM, a 320GB hard drive and integrated Intel GMA 3150 graphics.
The S1080 has a 10.1-inch capacitive multitouch display with 1024×600 resolution and LED-backlit. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 as well as 3.5G WWAN network connectivity. The tablet also comes with a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, 1.5Wx2 stereo speakers, and USB 3.0 connector.
Gigabyte S1080 Windows 7 tablet also comes equipped with a built-in VGA port, which allows users to hook up an external monitor or projector whenever a larger display is needed. It has built in wireless 802.11b/g/n ,Bluetooth 3.0,SD card reader and USB 3.0 for fast transfers from/to external storage units. Gigabyte S1080 Slate will be available in next month with a price tag above $500.
