Fujitsu has prepared to launch their new touchscreen tablet codenamed as TH40D. This tablet is coming with Intel Atom Z670 CPU which has been manufactured sing Oak Trail platform, with speed of 1.5GHz.
Fujitsu TH40D tablet has also coming with 10.1-inch multitouch display, 2GB of RAM, 120GB hard drive and an unique slide out keyboard for easy typing. It also featured WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, but no USB port mentioned at the source. Its overall weight is just 1.1 Kg and measuring at just 7.4mm thick only.
It looks pretty cool, especially the slide out keyboard that free you from typing on the virtual on-screen keyboard (because they are suck). However, with the strive competition out there, will Fujitsu TH40D tablet stand a chance to compete with the upcoming big boys? Well, let’s just wait and see.
As for the release date for this Fujitsu TH40D tablet, fujitsu is going to roll it out in Japan at the end of June 2011.
