Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Laptop Review

If you follow the tech scene closely, you probably already know that everyone has been buzzing about Lenovo’s new ThinkPad X1. This powerfully thin laptop is now available in the US, so if you’re looking for something rivaling the Apple MacBook Air, but with more power, look no further.
Lenovo refers to this as a crossover computer, made for business crowd, but able to appeal to consumers as well.
This 13-inch laptop with a 0.67-inch body (approximately the height of a US penny) tries to compete against the likes of the MacBook Air and the Samsung Series 9 laptops, but brings raw power as Lenovo managed to cram up to a second-gen Intel Core i7 processor into it,  making it appeal to more consumers. You can also go with a Core i3 or i5 processor if you want, if the Core i7 is too much for you to handle.
Although it tries to become an ultraportable powerhouse, it still weights in  at 3.7 pounds, but it’s still possibly the lightest and thinnest machine with that much power on the market. It also features a super tough Gorilla Glass screen.

The X1 may look just like other models, but compared to previous ThinkPad batteries, Lenovo claims that the X1’s RapidCharge battery will last three times as long. In addition, the battery will charge to 80 percent capacity in only  30 minutes, but the only downfall is you won’t be able to replace the battery yourself.
Some of the other features that the X1 is Dolby Home Theater sound, an HDMI port with the ability to stream 1080p wirelessly, a backlit keyboard, available for the first time on an enterprise-class ThinkPad laptop, which also maintains the well-loved keyboard with a modernized appearance, and it’s all powered by Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7, which they claim allows users to start their laptop about 20 seconds faster than a typical Windows 7 computer.
