New GIGABYTE AM3+ Motherboards Sports Iconic Black Sockets

aipei, TaiwanGIGABYTE has just announced a new line of 16 AMD motherboards that offer support for AMD's next generation 32nm AM3+ CPUs.



Previously unveiled at CeBIT 2011, these new motherboards are built based on current generation AMD 800/700 series chipsets and come equipped with iconic black sockets to distinguish between AM3 and AM3+ support. Additionally, these new boards also offer backward compatibility with the current AM3 CPUs, so migration to AM3+ technology is hassle-free as soon as it becomes available.
