Microsoft Turnover of 16.43 billion from Windows

By the first quarter of 2011 behind us, the technology companies announce their financial results relating to profits and sales. And so, after seeing the results of Apple and  HTC , Let’s go now to Redmond, where Microsoft announced an increase in its net profit by 31%, amounting to 5.23 billion dollars, while sales increased by 13%, then taking a share 16.43 billion dollars.
These results are commendable, I must say, however, Apple – down from his record turnover of 24.67 billion dollars well – did better than the Colossus of Redmond, confirming that the technology sector is currently the most profitable mobile devices (iPhone and iPad to speak, not to mention the Android) and not those of bulky PC.
From this point of view, in fact, the financial results released by the Microsoft show that the total turnover of the operating system Windows has fallen by 4% which, moreover, may just surprise, considering the 40% drop that the netbook market in the United States has in recent months.
Well, Microsoft still manages to raise its voice because of the success of the Xbox console, controller and related products Kinect dedicated to the entertainment market, while equally well does the Office 2010 for the business market. If you do not want to give way to its competitors, the Redmond company will then invest more resources in the wider consumer market
