Samsung Alex is the new guy in the block that continues the journey of CR-48, the older version of Chrome OS netbook prototype. Samsung Alex Chrome netbook is coming with high-definition display that support 1280 x 800, fully packed with Intel Atom N550 1.5GHz CPU Pine Trail platform, 2GB RAM, SSD from Sandisk, Realtek ALC272 audio chipset and Qualcomm Gobi Chipset 2000.
Apart from the above listed specs, Samsung haven’t release further details of this Chrome OS netbook for the public. More details could be revealed during Google I/O that takes place on May 10-11 at Mascone Center in San Francisco, California. I do hope there will be a yellow or green color selection for the netbook. Well, style matters for me.
